Job Type:Full-time
In this new position, utilize your engineering training to research, specify and design innovative solutions to moderately complex manufacturing systems and processes. Projects may include ammonia refrigeration design, heat recovery, energy reduction and air handling. Collaborate with facilities to achieve and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM). Perform PSM facility audits and make recommendations for best practices. Support environmental compliance initiatives. Specific qualifications include:· A pattern of initiative· Strong problem solving skills and decision-making skills· Excellent organization and project management skills· Well-developed written and verbal communication skills· Ability to travel at least 20% of the time· Minimum of a two year vocational-technical degree· Minimum of one year Maintenance Engineer experience in a manufacturing environment· Minimum of five years of pertinent experience in a technical field· Technical Certification or licensure· Management/leadership development training with demonstrated application of skills Preferred:· Bachelor’s degree in engineering and successful experience in asset reliability· Strong understanding of plant maintenance work process, mechanical electrical systems, and maintenance procedures· CMRP certified Qualified applicants should submit a resume and the application found on our company website by February 17, 2016.Excellent pay and benefit package including health, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, vacation, 401K, pension, profit sharing, continuing education, and much more.
